Sandown Shanklin & District Camera Club meets at the Sports Pavilion, Watery Lane, Newchurch, Isle of Wight (just up the road from Thomson’s Nursery) at 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday evening between September and April. Our first meeting of the winter season this year 2008 is on Tuesday September 2nd at 7.30 and is an informal meeting to meet and greet new and old friends to the club.

You can be assured of a friendly welcome and we will be pleased to explain the years programme to you. Don’t worry you will not be required to join on your first few visits to give you plenty of time so that you can see if you like us first!

The Club

As a camera club we encourage all types of photography including slides, prints, wet darkroom and of course digital and digital lightroom techniques. Our members use cameras ranging from compacts, digital SLRs, 35mm through to large format.

Our membership covers a wide range of skill levels and no matter what your level all are welcome.
